Job Description

ECC Horizon provides environmental consulting and remediation services to many of the nation's Fortune 1000 companies. With offices across the country, the firm currently directs environmental investigation and remediation projects throughout the U.S.

ECC Horizon's practice is dedicated to subsurface site investigation, remediation, causation analysis, project management and litigation support. Over the past 20+ years, the firm has helped successfully resolve thousands of contamination cases.

As a result of continuing growth, ECC Horizon is seeking a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) for either its Randolph or Mount Laurel, New Jersey offices. The successful candidates will be the LSRP of record for multiple projects, provide senior technical oversight and direction to staff, direct and engage in field activities, have broad client contact, and ensure proper project budgeting and auditing.

LSRP's are responsible for: (1) Communicating with clients, regulatory agencies, property owners, and subcontractors, (2) collecting and analyzing data, (3) devising and executing investigation/remediation strategies, and (4) project management. Professional licensure continuing education credits, dues and insurance are provided.

Qualified candidates will have the following skills and/or credentials:
  • 10+ years of direct site investigation and remediation experience.
  • Academic degrees in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Advanced degree is desired but not mandatory.
  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional certification required.
  • Serving as technical expert for staff and client consultation.
  • Peer reviewing both regulatory and client facing reports.
  • Strong knowledge of NJ technical requirements, rules and regulations.
  • Broad experience with various remediation technologies.
  • Understanding of soil and groundwater geochemistry.
  • Strong work ethic and collegial personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sharp critical thinking and problem solving skills.
