Duties: The Laboratory Resource Manager will help oversee operations of a biochemical research laboratory in the Department of Chemistry. The Laboratory Resource Manager will work closely with the Principal Investigator and research group to develop and optimize proteomics technologies and to develop biochemical assays for new projects. The employee will also maintain laboratory supplies and training/upkeep of laboratory instrumentation.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Seven years experience are strongly preferred. Applicant must be detail oriented and able to work independently. Must possess ability to interact easily with research staff. Must possess superb time management skills; be very well organized and highly motivated. Ability to communicate clearly, work with varying personalities and manage multiple projects and duties. Should have experience with standard biochemistry techniques, including assay development.
