The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a Pediatric Otolaryngologist. The incumbent will provide and direct clinical care for children with complex head and neck problems as well as treating patients in the new outpatient pediatric clinic. An active role in the education and training of medical students and department residents will be expected. This position will be open rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and open track. Salary, rank, and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications and experience and are subject to the School of Medicine Promotion and Tenure guidelines.
Applicants must have a MD, be board- certified or board-eligible in Otolaryngology and have successfully completed a pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at the time of hire.
Candidates must have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine. Preference will be given to candidates who bring unique clinical expertise and are engaged in clinical or basic research.
