Sr. Educational Technology Analyst


Job Description

A Senior Educational Technology Analyst provides analysis, design, development, training, support and research for the technology needs of faculty and staff; participates on college task forces and committees dealing with the planning, design, development and implementation of programs related to instructional technology, training, and campus technology standards. Primary support for faculty use of the college's learning management system is a vital focus. Training opportunities may be one-on-one, small group, self-paced, or workshop.
  • Collaborate with instructors and students in support of our Innovation Lab that houses 3D Printers, Laser Cutter and other Makerspace equipment.
  • Work with faculty in the mode most appropriate for the training needs, whether in person, by video, online, or through written material.
  • Support faculty with questions related to technology needs in instruction, including LMS related questions, innovations, web conferencing, software use, and mobile use.
  • Support faculty and staff with content delivery applications such as content capture and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Research emerging technology trends, attend conferences, pilot new technologies, and make recommendations for future technology initiatives.
  • Give conference reports and updates about upcoming trends.
  • Offer instructional design consultation for course development when asked, with an emphasis on quality standards.
