Substituting as a teacher for grades K-12 in the absence of the classroom teacher.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years post high school education and previous work experience as a substitute teacher.
High preferred: Florida Teacher Certification or certification eligibility
Must be able to provide 3 professional references
Anticipated Salary Range
Teaching Assistant – starting at $10.25 per hour, up to $13.50 per hour based on qualifications.
Hour will vary
Criminal Background Check
A level 2 fingerprint check is a condition of employment with the cost being the responsibility of the successful candidate. Re-certification is required at 5 year intervals (at the employee's expense).
