The primary responsibility of the Senior Assistant Director for Admissions Marketing and Communications is to develop content in support of the admissions marketing and communications strategy to position Boston University as a world-class teaching and research university committed to undergraduate education. The Senior Assistant Director works closely with admissions staff to develop core messaging to persuasively convey the benefits and value of a BU education to prospective students, parents, high school principals/headmasters, and guidance counselors. This position requires a strategic understanding of how to tailor and repurpose content across marketing channels print, web, email, social and digital media, etc. The Senior Assistant Director also works with BU Creative Services, BU Photography, external vendors, and an extensive network of contacts in BU's 10 undergraduate schools and colleges and throughout the University to research, write content, and manage projects from concept through final production.


B.A./B.S. required, Master's preferred; 3-5 years of relevant experience; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat Pro
