The FNP provides direct ambulatory care services to Husson University Students within their scope of practice as defined by the State of Maine, and assists with health education and wellness efforts of Student Health Services. This is a part-time, academic year appointment.

Provides direct ambulatory health care to students;
Acts as a consultant to the nursing staff;
Participates with Director in the development and review of procedures, policies, and protocols;

Minimum MSN degree;
Current, unrestricted State of Maine FNP Licensure;
Current BLS for the medical provider certification;
NPI and DEA number required;

3 – 5 years in the medical field, preferably in an ambulatory care setting with up-to-date knowledge of medical trends and procedures

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Familiarity with ambulatory care, adolescent and adult health
