This position is responsible for research and research support services for the School. This position guides and oversees the direction of the research programs, fosters a research intensive environment, promotes faculty development in research and scholarship, advocates for the research mission. This position has direct responsibility for the research centers in the School, for post-doctoral research scholars, and for research faculty and staff positions. The Associate Dean for Research also maintains a program of funded research.

Required: a doctorate is required, as is relevant teaching experience. Applicants must have an established program of research with a history of external funding.

Salary, faculty rank (Associate Professor or Professor) and tenure are commensurate with education, experience and scholarship. Joint appointments are available. Qualified applicants may be eligible for an endowed chair.
