Full-time, "exempt" position, included in the Management Personnel Plan (MPP).
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, occasional evening and weekend hours.

California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is a preeminent center of intellectual and cultural activity in Inland Southern California. CSUSB is made up of five administrative divisions. The Division of University Advancement promotes Cal State San Bernardino's educational mission through private philanthropic support, strategic communications, and alumni relations. University Development creates fundraising initiatives, events, and activities that stimulate the involvement and interest of alumni, friends, parents, corporations, and foundations by developing relationships that foster and stimulate giving to the university.
Position Description: The Director of Alumni Relations oversees the operations and programs of the Office of Alumni Relations in their entirety, including the CSUSB Alumni Association and the Student Ambassadors Society. The director plans and implements programming and projects that strategically engage alumni in strengthening the university and supporting its current and future students. This position serves as a key member of the University Advancement leadership team, promoting collaboration of the Office of Alumni Relations with all components of the division, including Development, Strategic Communication, and Annual Giving. The director manages professional and student staff in daily operations and team projects and facilitates recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff. The director is responsible for the preparation, monitoring, updating and evaluation of annual business plan and budget. The director serves as a key partner in cultivating a diverse alumni volunteer network to help maximize outreach and build the pipeline for philanthropic support to the university and manages the initial steps of the alumni cultivation and solicitation strategy as part of the University Advancement division.
