The College of Business Administration (COBA) at Savannah State University invites qualified applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning fall 2017, in the area of Logistics/Supply Chain Management.   Programs offered by the College are fully accredited by AACSB International.   COBA offers BBA and MBA degree programs.   This position provides lectures in logistics and supply chain management and supports the College in projects, programs and activities.  In this position, the faculty member holds office hours and assists students in meeting business related educational objectives.  In addition to teaching, candidates for the position are expected to conduct publishable research and be engaged in professional service institutionally and in the community.  May be directed to perform job related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description.  Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

 

An appropriate doctorate from an AACSB accredited or an internationally recognized research institution and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and conduct publishable research required.  Prior teaching and professional experience is preferred.  Background and/or credit check may be required.
