Assistant Professor Health Programs
The Department of Neurology at Michigan State University is looking to further expand its faculty. We seek BC/BE faculty trained in pediatric neurology who are also interested in teaching medical students and residents. The Department of Neurology has 10 subspecialties in addition to child neurology. There are two Departments of Pediatrics on campus including one in the College of Osteopathic Medicine and one in the College of Human Medicine. The successful candidate will also practice at Sparrow Health Systems, in Lansing, Michigan. Sparrow is a third tertiary care facility with a broad array of pediatric and neurological services.
The Department of Neurology has an active and robust clinical focus and is affiliated with the MSU Neuroscience Program. The Department has a required medical school clerkship, an active neurology residency and expanding fellowship programs. We seek individuals who wish to work within a team to help build Neurology on the campus of one of the country's great universities.Required Degree
An M.D. or D.O is required. Successful completion of either an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Neurology Fellowship Program and completion of a Pediatric Residency. Candidates must be eligible for a physician's license in the State of Michigan.Required Application Materials
