The George Washington University (GW) School of Nursing invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track faculty position with a strong focus on geriatric research to join our Center for Aging, Health and Humanities. The Center offers tremendous opportunities for collaboration with a network or inter-professional scholars and the ability to positively impact the field of aging.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to research through extramural funding, high quality publications, and impact as reflected in citations, awards, and national recognition; teach courses in the graduate programs; mentor students in research.

Minimum Qualifications:

At time of application, application should have: (1) A PhD in nursing, public health, public policy or a related field; (2) a nursing degree (any level); (3) an established/developing body of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and/or funded grants in the area; (4) ability to obtain an unencumbered nursing license in the District of Columbia and Virginia; (5) a demonstrated ability to advance the university's and school's commitment to diversity and inclusion through research, teaching, and outreach with relevant program, goals, and activities and (6) a background in nurse practitioner education, adult and gerontology nurse practitioner practice, primary care nurse practitioner education and practice, or gerontology advanced practice nursing.
