The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a soil radiocarbon database and perform analyses to explore climate and ecosystem controls on turnover times and carbon fluxes into and out of the global soil organic carbon reservoir.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience working with statistical, machine learning, or modeling approaches is required along with a strong background in terrestrial ecosystem ecology. Use of scripting languages such as Python, Matlab, R, or Interactive Data Language is required.
