About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: The Senior Research Project Manager will possess strong management, analytical, quantitative, qualitative, partnership development and writing skills to work with the LUCENT Primary Care Research team on a range of projects, including the new opioid use disorder (OUD) component. Provides expertise in developing partnerships with community-based practices with diverse populations. Assists with project design. Oversees implementation of projects, including the new partnership with the ECHO-Chicago team to provide community based OUD training. Oversees data collection, evaluation and analysis. Designs and manages databases and websites. Writes reports, articles and manuscripts. Presents research findings at meetings and conferences, as well as to funding agencies. Conducts literature reviews. Trains and oversees the work of research support personnel. Mange other administrative aspects of the research project, including supervising research support personnel, tracking project expenditures, participating in funding negotiations, and assisting with grant and manuscript preparation.

Unit Education: Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or advanced degree in a field relevant to the goals of this training program required.

Unit Experience: Four years of relevant research experience required.
