Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
--Minimum 2 years of applicable experience required.
--Ability to plan and manage operations for a multifaceted program, balancing several priorities simultaneously.
--Passion for cultivating a culture that emphasizes quality customer service and/or experience with providing direct customer service.

Campus and Visitor Relations (CAVR) in the Office of University Relations provides personalized information, experiences and connections for the campus, community, and beyond through a variety of programs and services. The person in this multifaceted position is responsible for coordinating CAVR's Information and Referral Service, including facility, information and personnel management. CAVR is comprised of ten permanent staff and 120+ student hourly employees, plus occasional Temporary Employees. This position requires a welcoming and inclusive work style, as well as flexibility, initiative, patience, a high degree of organizational skills, and the ability to problem-solve independently. Additionally, the person in this position will spend a considerable amount of time communicating via e-mail/phone/in person with a variety of individuals, including: students, faculty, staff, visitors, parents, and members of the general public. Responsibilities are performed in collaboration with other student and professional staff, under general supervision. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Campus and Visitor Relations.
