Job Summary:

Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $17.25 per hour.

This position supports the UW Madison School of Social Work. The School of Social Work is a decentralized department which includes multiple programs and off campus locations.

Under the general direction of the Department Manager, function as the lead human resources and payroll representative for the School of Social Work. Serve as department liaison to Letters and Science, HRS Service Center, and campus human resource offices for Human Resource, Payroll, and Visa issues.

Coordinate and process division appointments (i.e. faculty, academic staff, university staff, project, graduate, horary fellow, student hourly and temporary employee) including those for the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System. Complete bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for faculty, academic staff, university staff, project, graduate, student hourly and temporary employee appointments. Lead the work of the departmental payroll coordinator for the part-time program.

Schedule Comment:

Schedule of 7:45-4:15 M-F, somewhat flexible. Some nights and weekend hours required.
