This positions serves as the primary IH in conducting chemical and physical exposure assessments and maintains an extensive inventory of sampling equipment; providing education and training on OSHA and other relevant health and safety standards; and periodically maintaining, reviewing and developing health and safety programs.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry equipment (up to 35 lbs.) to locations around campus; walk on uneven surfaces; and climb ladders.


8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m; but may need to respond the chemical exposure emergencies.


Ability to quickly learn Industrial Hygienist equipment and associated software programs, MS Office Suite- Word, Excel, Access, and MS outlook.

Preferred Education/Experience

Driver's license and the ability to drive are preferred.
