The Toppel Career Center is seeking a Peace Corps Recruiter to coordinate targeted recruitment activities. This position will work approximately 20 hours per week and will report to the Office Manager. This position will work in conjunction with the Peace Corps and Toppel Career Center. This position will require attendance at recruitment events that may take place on evenings or weekends. Work shift varies according to recruitment activity schedule. This position is needed on a temporary basis and will work during Fall and Spring semesters only.

The Campus Recruiter must be a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) and coordinate specified recruitment activities including:
• Distribute brochures, posters, visual aids, applications, and other Peace Corps recruitment materials on a monthly basis to individuals, groups, associations, faculty,
and targeted populations.
• Promote all public Peace Corps and recruiting events through campus media, including social media (e.g. Facebook) and campus media (e.g. radio, websites, etc.).
• Develop and maintain social media presence through Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Develop and facilitate strategic recruitment activities: specialized-skill class talks or presentations to student organizations, panels or other presentations in the community and other campuses, recruiting at university career fairs or general tabling in strategic campus locations.
• Develop and/or maintain partnerships and collaborations with university department heads, student organizations, RPCV groups and Coverdell Fellows/MI programs.
• Identify highly skilled candidates and specialized skill candidates to serve as Peace Corps Volunteers.

• Bachelor's degree required.
