Seeking a Sr. Research Technician in the Dept. of Biology to support development of microscale nerve interfaces and dissemination of this technology to other research groups. This individual will contribute to mechanical, electronic and software development of these devices (and associated technologies) and offer manufacturing services to support experimental work in both home and collaborating labs. The candidate will also help support experiments applying this technology in behaving animals to test principles of neural coding and control. Previous background in mechanical or electrical design is preferred.


Bachelors degree required and one to three years work experience. Engineering, computer science, or physics background preferred.
