Systems Administrator, Int., Education Technology Consortm-603184

Northern Arizona University’s Department of Education Technology Consortm is seeking a position for a Systems Administrator, Int. Primary responsibility is to manage and support the ETC Application Hosting Environment to install, configure, secure, and maintain ETC Application Services hardware and software including virtualization and SQL server backend. Provide tier 1 & 2 support for network and server issues (e.g) answers network-related or server-related, questions; troubleshoots and debugs connections. Coordinate with ETC Financial and School Services staff to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to BusinessPlus Synergy, and Visions software packages hosted by ETC. Configure and support Citrix XenDesktop Server farms. Manage licensure for SQL, Citrix and Microsoft software utilized in Application Services. Manage SSL certificates and domain name registrations. Prepare and maintain documentation of procedures, hardware configuration, software configuration and versions, and custom application interfaces. Maintain source code with appropriate documentation.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and two years of systems and/or programming experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and one year of systems and/or programming experience; or three-years of systems and/or programming experience; or and equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have achieved.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
