Position Summary:
English Language Program. The Administrative Coordinator provides leadership for development program growth, including strategic planning, operations program development and delivery, student recruitment, enrollment and retention.

Essential Functions

  • Develops, grows, administers and teaches English as a second language.
  • Develops a vision and strategic plan for ELP and ESL which aligns with goals of academic course work preparation, lifelong learning and market demands.
  • Partners with division's Marketing Manager to develop and execute a marketing plan.
  • Identifies ELP and ESL's unique value proposition to create its vision, establish content channels, distribution strategy, and attain market insight and data.
  • Provides leadership and staff development.
  • Develops assessment protocol and best practices for ELP and ESL programs and implement changes based on findings.

    Bachelor’s Degree

    Three or more years of related work experience

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), human relations and organizational skills; proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases; ability to work well in a diverse environment; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.

    Preferred Education:
    Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)/Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or related field; PhD/EdE in TESL or closely related field; Certificate training in TESOL or ESL.

    Preferred Experience::
    Five years of experience teaching English for Specific Populations (ESP) & English as a Second Language (ESL), in addition to administrating and supervising an intensive English program.

    Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
