ADJUNCT : TECHNICAL/SCIENTIFIC WRITING AND COMMUNICATION
The Department of English and Humanities is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach FCO215: Technical and Scientific Communication. This course builds upon an introductory rhetoric, writing, and communication course (FCO105) and offers students practice in applying rhetorical techniques and problem-solving skills to the types of communication associated with technical and scientific (including medical) settings. This course combines instruction in written, oral, and visual communication.
A successful candidate will have a Master’s degree or higher in technical communication, rhetoric and composition, communication studies, or a related field as well as either teaching experience, technical writing experience, or both.
