Occupational Summary

Assist the Chief Administrator and Business Office leadership with financial and operational projects related to the overall functioning of the Business Office.

This position also assists the Chair and Executive Vice Chair on department projects as assigned.

Supervised by the Chief Administrator and indirectly by the Administrative Manager on all HR and operational responsibilities.

Work Performed

Manage and coordinate outside contracts and agreements including educational, Community Division,development, consulting, industry, DUHS, corporate agreements,Veteran's Administration, MOU's.LOA's, collaborations etc.

Provide timeline and deadline management along with percentage completion where applicable.

Prepare a variety of reports as needed by the Chief Administrator and leadership.

This includes productivity reporting for the ICU and Pain Clinic locations.

Coordinates the preparation of other reports as assigned, such as faculty risk sharing models.

Assists in facilitating current, new and special projects for the Business Office including business plan formats, financial models and other department initiatives through the SOM and PDC.

Anticipates the needs and obtains background material for decisions necessary for reports and projects.

These projects include IT related and the software development to internal and external corporate entities and other platforms.

Provides back up assistant duties to the Business Office for providing all administrative support to the Chief Administrator.

Assists the Chief Administrator and Executive Vice Chair in preparation for meetings and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.

Maintains and solicits agendas for Chief Administrator meetings with leadership, business office and other department groups and tracks completion of tasks and action items regularly.

This individual should be skilled in the development and delivery of presentations.

Work on special events requiring administrative content.

Manages and assists in HR functions of the department under the guidance of the Administrative Manager for Operations.

Minimal travel required as assigned.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education
