Systems modeling. Use of mathematical and computational approaches to model metabolic pathways, regulatory networks, pathway fluxes, and production pipelines to inform strategies for metabolic engineering. Expertise in model validation by mass spectrometry, NMR or other appropriate methods will be expected. All researchers interested in optimal production and yield of bioproducts will benefit from this expertise, so this position should synergize the group.
