General Summary of Position:
Will report to Coordinator of International Operations and provide professional administrative support to the International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO). Must be culturally sensitive and possess excellent customer service skills. Will work in a very busy front office, with a high volume of phone, email and walk ins. The International Services Assistant must be well-rounded, balancing customer service, attention to detail and some problem solving.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-High school diploma with 3-5 years of relevant administrative support experience
-U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Ability to prioritize
-Basic awareness of international student advising or interest and willingness to learn
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
-Comfortable with all standard Office Computer applications including Microsoft Office suite and Adobe PDF
-Cultural sensitivity to persons of all backgrounds and nationalities

Other Considerations:
-Knowledge of Sunapsis Case Management System
-Knowledge of Oracle Computer Software
-Experience with Tridion website update software
-Comfortable with all standard Office Computer applications
-Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
-MUST be a team player and easily able to adjust to changes in a suitable manner
-Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
