Assistant Director of Enrollment Services
The individual in this position manages the day-to-day operations of the Welcome Center and provides appropriate training and support to personnel on handling the prospective student intake process and inquiries. The individual in this position must be able to provide excellent service to prospective students and be able to hold Welcome Center staff accountable for doing the same. He or she may have access to confidential information, and as such must possess a high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering calls and inquiries and providing information about the college Admissions process, supervising the enrollment staff assigned to the Welcome Center as well as the Admissions Receptionist/Telephone Operator, oversight of admissions and testing processes for new students, arranging Welcome Center and Testing Center schedules, resolving technical issues with new student applications, and modeling excellent prospective student service. Other related duties may be assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of customer service experience and/or experience as a teacher/trainer. Excellent communication skills. Must possess a high level of proficiency in the use of Internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software and experience with or the aptitude to master the use of the College ERP system (Ellucian Colleague).
