The College of Mathematics and Science currently has 135 full-time and over 70 part-time faculty in 7 academic departments. The College serves more than 3,600 undergraduate students in 26 majors and provides graduate programs in Biology, Applied Mathematical Science, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Computational Science, Engineering Physics, and Nursing. Accreditation/Certification is held by ABET, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the American Board of Funeral Service Education, and the American Chemical Society. Temporary Lecturer provides a quality learning experience for students. Performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college. The relationship of the Lecturer faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning. Teaching and departmental responsibilities expected.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:
Duties include teaching day/evening undergraduate courses.
The successful candidate will work with students in and out of the classroom, teaching undergraduate courses (including introductory service courses and online courses) in engineering physics and mechanical engineering.
Other responsibilities will include serving on departmental committees, and service activities appropriate to rank and appointment.
Salary Range: Commensurate with credentials and experience.
