Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
1-2 years experience within an education setting is required; preference will be given to candidates with experience working within a medical education setting. Additionally, prior experience managing complex schedules, coordinating large groups of people, and successfully communicating with faculty, staff and students is required.
The Medical Education Office within the UW School of Medicine & Public Health seeks a Phase 1 Educational Coordinator to manage and advance the curriculum objectives of the newly transformed UW School of Medicine & Public Health's (SMPH) MD curriculum. This position will work closely with basic science and clinical science faculty Block Leaders and will support the varied teaching and assessment methods in Phase 1. Responsibilities include creating educational blocks within the Learning Management System, supporting the use of online and classroom educational technologies, facilitating the block evaluation process and overseeing the scheduling of faculty and students within the different blocks.
