COMMAND CENTER SPECIALIST, LEARNING & EVENT TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, IS&T (4744/F2617)
Serve on the Command Center service team as primary Subject Matter Expert and/or Technical Lead, and on the Design/Consulting service team as a Subject Matter Expert. Act as the primary point of contact for Faculty and Staff members requesting technology support for classrooms, meetings, and events. Ensure all inquiries receive appropriate response, resolution and/or escalation. Dispatch staff, student employees, vehicles and equipment for both regular operational activity and unplanned incidents. Assist the management team with preparing planned events and requests. Handle all aspects of departmental billing and prepare detailed financial reports and reconciliations. Provide backup advanced support to Technology Specialists in the operation, installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and support of technology systems and services on campus. This position may entail working occasional and/or scheduled evening, weekend and/or holiday hours and being on call, as needed.
B.A./B.S. required. Three to five years of relevant experience.
