The University of Alaska, Office of Information Technology (OIT) is recruiting an OnBase Administrator. This position is responsible for managing the OnBase system upgrade, providing customer support, troubleshooting and assisting with day to day OnBase activities.

Duties:

- Work with the end users on problem resolution and enhancement solutions. Effectively passes along accurate and detailed knowledge of capture processes and procedures to both technical and non-technical staff. Individual will analyze records and information retention and disposition schedules.

- Incumbent will lead OnBase integration with Banner, PageUp, and other enterprise systems. The successful candidate is expected to perform windows server tasks and maintain OnBase scheduled tasks.

- Incumbent assists the Manager of Compliance, Information and Records Systems by providing technical expertise for the ECM application. Develops and maintains the ECM and Records and Information Management web site. Incumbent assists with ECM software upgrades, following departmental policies and procedures. Analyze documents, installs, develops and maintains ECM scan software. Assist in the planning, development, and delivery of the imagery system scanning and employee training. Assist with creating, maintaining, and improving departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Effectively communicates business policies and procedures to technical staff and translates highly technical content to business analysts, managers, and directors.

- Assists the Manager of Compliance, Information and Record Systems in the management of the OnBase software and addresses common problems that may arise. Incumbent will be familiar with what drives the ECM system's software and hardware and in conjunction with OIT personnel will provide basic system troubleshooting for capture and scanning operations. Incumbent is expected to upgrade OnBase on a routine basis as and when the upgrades are available by vendors. This individual will be knowledgeable of system capture, indexing, and batch committing. Maintain, document, and address common problems that arise for the users. Assists in the research of and recommends to the user's departmental business capture/scanning processes. Assists in the development of functional requirements and implements technical solutions.
