Director of International Grants & Partnerships

The Director of International Grants & Partnerships (IGP) is responsible for writing, managing and administering major international grants as well as overseeing outreach and compliance for international partnerships within the Division of Global Affairs. The Director of IGP reports to the Executive Director of the Division of Global Affairs and serves as the administrative director for all major grants awarded to the Division of Global Affairs.

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of IGP works collaboratively with divisional faculty and staff to identify and develop proposals for external grant opportunities in support of the Division of Global Affairs and leads administrative implementation of successful grant awards. The Director of IGP works collaboratively with staff in the KSU Office of Research and contract grant writers to address pre- and post-award development and reporting requirements for both new and existing grant programs.

The Division of Global Affairs is currently the recipient of several large-scale multiyear grant awards from the U.S. State Department -- including the Fulbright Gateway Orientation and the Young Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative -- and has received more than $1 million in external funding awards since 2014. The Director of IGP is responsible for leading the administrative oversight of these existing grant programs as well as pursuing new grant funding opportunities.

The Director of IGP is also responsible for the administrative and procedural management for all international partnership agreements and ensuring their compliance with university policies and processes. The Director of IGP works with faculty, program directors and department chairs to guide and assess new international partnership requests and make recommendations to the Executive Director for effective management of new and existing partnerships. The Director of IGP serves as the primary point of contact for international partnership inquiries and works with the local Atlanta Consular Corps to engage local partners and oversee the Division of Global Affairs' Consular Connect Program, which brings Consuls General to the Kennesaw State Campus for formal lectures, meetings and remarks. The Director is also responsible with supporting special projects/tasks and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

The salary range for this position is fixed at $55,000 annually.

Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years comparable/related experience; management/supervisory skills are required.
