General Summary: The Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia seeks a part-time instructor in Art History to teach Art Appreciation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The Part-time Faculty will responsible for teaching Art Appreciation, Teaching on multiple campuses may be required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about and able to teach effectively in broad areas ranging from the ancient world to contemporary art.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and human relations skills, knowledge of academic requirements, skills with instructional technology, and organizational ability to keep accurate and timely records

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Art History preferred. M.A. in Art History considered with evidence of a minimum of two years successful teaching experience at the college or university level.
