General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently seeking Part-time Studio Art Faculty to teach foundation courses, including Drawing I, 2D / Color, 3D Design, and Art Appreciation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The Instructor will be responsible for teaching foundation courses and maintaining all appropriate class records. Teaching on the multiple campuses may be required.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will be skilled in at least two of the following areas: all drawing and painting media, 3-D/sculpture, and art appreciation.
  • MFA in appropriate studio area, or comparable experience
  • Evidence of a minimum of two years of successful teaching experience at the college or university level
  • Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with a diverse student population required
