The McIntire Department of Art at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill non-tenure track instructional positions during the 2017-2018 academic year. Subject areas of particular need include, but are not limited to, Celtic Art and Archaeology and/or the Introduction to Classical Art and Archaeology. Available instructional positions may be limited to one course per semester. Compensation will take the form of wages, which does not include benefits. A Master's Degree in Art History, Archeology or relevant field is required. A PhD in a relevant field is preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching.
