The University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine invites nominations for an Associate or Full Professor who will act as an attending physician for Endocrinology Division, as well as serve as Program Director for a fellowship in endocrinology.

This position will provide clinical care for patients while supervising residents in ambulatory and hospital-based settings, both on the main campus and off-site locations. In addition, this position will lead and direct clinical teaching activities within the Division of Endocrinology, including training other faculty in teaching skills. These activities may include instruction of students, residents and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient clinical settings, as well as instruction in lectures, seminars and clinical conferences. Fellowship program duties include overseeing recruitment, performance, reporting, and curriculum development.

Other duties include:
• Support the clinical research mission of the Division through various roles including development and supervision of clinical protocols, accrual of patients to clinical trials, and participation in regulatory oversight programs for clinical research.
• Lead the inpatient glycemic control committee. This responsibility includes liaison with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer and other hospital leadership. This committee involves working closely with the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Academic Service Line.
• Represent the University of Kentucky in a professional manner as an active member of the medical staff. These responsibilities include active participation in medical staff affairs; adherence to evidence based practice standards; and a strong commitment to high standards of customer service.
• Serve on appropriate Division, Department, University, Hospital and College committees as assigned by the Division Chief.
