The Rowan University Music Department seeks adjunct faculty to teach intro- and remedial level music theory courses. Candidate should be prepared to teach both written theory, including traditional harmony and part-writing, as well as aural theory, which will include instruction in solfege and music dictation.

Required qualifications: Master’s Degree, preferably in music, expertise in both written and aural theory, teaching experience, functional keyboard skills.

Preferred qualifications: Masters or Doctoral Degree in Music Theory or Composition, classroom teaching experience in music theory or musicianship, sufficient keyboard proficiency for the theory and musicianship classroom.
