The Department of Accounting at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate rank for fall 2018. Those with an interest in taxation are particularly encouraged to apply. An offer of employment for this position will be made dependent upon available funding. Candidates for Associate must hold a Ph.D. in Accounting (or equivalent) from an AACSB-accredited institution and have demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong publication record. Candidates for Assistant Professor must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. in Accounting (or equivalent) from an AACSB-accredited institution by the start of employment, and exhibit potential to achieve excellence in teaching and a strong publication record. CPA, CMA, CIA or equivalent certification is preferred.
