Transportation Services at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist I to function as a Customer Service Technician in Parking Operations. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Enters data and run reports from POM Metermanager coin parking meter database. * Run reports for Digital Smart Meters and assists with customer usage queries with Parkmobile for office staff.* Manage inventory of garage ticket stock and receipt paper for all equipment. * Orders and receives all related maintenance equipment and tools required for specific jobs.* Maintain, repair, troubleshoot parking garage equipment, coin operated parking meters, and "smart" parking meters. * Assist with maintaining upcoming technologies such as mobile license plate recognition and space count utilization.* Entering data in a meticulous and efficient fashion* Demonstrating courteous, friendly and helpful attitude whendealing with students, the public, all departments and other UNTemployees.* Following appropriate safety practices related to work performed.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and one year of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed.
