ACCOUNT Manager SAA Marketing JOB PURPOSE:
With minimal supervision, the Account Manager, SAA Marketing,
ensures that SAA program communication projects move seamlessly through the work process from start to finish. This includes partnering with the program lead to understand business goals, drafting the creative brief and shepherding the project through creative development and production. This person will serve as the liaison between the Marketing team and the client, developing and maintaining project schedules, holding team meetings and ensuring that both the creative team and client are updated on any issues/changes, etc. This position reports to the Senior Account Manager, SAA Marketing and supports the communication efforts of a variety of SAA programs. Note: Not all unique aspects of the job are covered by this job description CORE DUTIES*: Communications Planning & Strategy (40%) Work closely with program owners and marketing leads to set communication plans, leveraging appropriate media vehiclesDetermine strategies to meet target audience needsDraft creative briefs, setting the tone and strategy for each communication Creative Development & Project Management (40%) Track project progress, anticipate issues, communicate with stakeholdersTraffic creative pieces through the creative process and ensure that individual teams Handle version management of communications projectsReview blue lines and test emails/webpagesProvide strategic creative feedback Lead meetings, including creative reviews and strategy sessions Evaluation (20%) Assist with user testingPull email and web metrics; analyze performance and report out to stakeholdersLead project post-mortems and yearly reviews * - Other duties may also be assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Previous experience in product, program and/or services marketing.Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.Experience with project management. Knowledge of marketing across channels, preferably including familiarity with marketing automation.Familiar with market research and data analysis.Creative problem solver.Excellent oral and written skills.Familiarity with Stanford University and Alumni Association programs a plus.Strong team player able to anticipate what needs to be done and do it willingly, regardless of the level of the task. Certifications and Licenses: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*: Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.Occasionally grasp forcefully, writing by hand.
