Associate Director, Advancement Analytics
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Annual Giving, the Associate Director serves as a technical research resource on questions of interest to senior administrators in Institutional Advancement. The Associate Director for Advancement Analytics provides hands-on data collection, advanced statistical analysis, data synthesis, interpretation of analysis, and preparation of reports for both internal and external use. The incumbent will leverage all University systems initiate and perform complex analyses and organize information to identify statistically derived predictive philanthropic patterns, tendencies, and relationships among individuals to determine the likelihood of donor giving, engagement, participation, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least four years of directly related data collection/analytics experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: *Ability to access data sources, including Oracle RDBMS and other 3rd party systems. *Ability to use Microsoft Office products, SQL, SPSS or other statistical packages. *Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multi task. *Must have excellent analytical and quantitative skills, iincluding ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data and statistical models. *Strong knowledge of computer spreadsheets and statistical analysis programs Compliance Statement: In the performance of their functions as detailed in the position description employees have an obligation to avoid ethical, legal, financial and other conflicts of interest to ensure that their actions and outside activities do not conflict with their primary employment responsibilities at the institution.
