PAYROLL COORDINATOR

Duties: Process payroll for weekly staff, monthly staff, monitor leave balances and appropriately apply FMLA leave and short term disability payments, process and monitor approvals to completion for additional pay form requests. Assist with annual performance appraisal and annual increase program, process merit increases though Salinc. Post available jobs through requisition management system, contact hiring officer when jobs are posted, assist with creating offer letters, perform payroll functions from onboarding, managing salary distributions, off boarding procedures for Faculty, Staff, and Students for GSE. Assist with the processing of Visa applications. Inform Faculty and Staff regarding payroll policies and benefits. Provide upkeep of filing and archiving records. Organize temporary staff requests through temporary agency, process PO, close PO, and approve invoices.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be detailed oriented, have excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to multitask, proven abilities with prioritizing tasks in a fast pace environment. General knowledge of compensation laws strongly preferred.
