Job Summary The Program Associate position is an exempt professional staff role within UGA Cooperative Extension responsible for managing the many resources offered by the UGA SNAP-Ed program. This position carries dual responsibilities within the UGA SNAP-Ed program. The Program Associate coordinates roles and distributes time as needed between the UGA on campus SNAP-Ed program and the delivery of SNAP-Ed's five intervention approaches within the assigned counties. A high level of independent judgment is required to effectively carry out the essential duties of the job and the incumbent is expected to manage both SNAP-Ed's program administration and SNAP-Ed education delivery by developing techniques and procedures as appropriate. This person works cooperatively with all SNAP-Ed faculty and staff where applicable and is administratively responsible to the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Program Coordinator. Minimum Qualifications Completion of a master's degree with 3 years of related experience; OR completion of a bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
