Nature of Work:
The Prevention Research Center is hiring two .50 FTE. Under this contract, the research team will explore ways in which greater integration can be achieved between the services provided by the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) program and other programs and governmental entities. The research team will also be responsible for exploring the feasibility and acceptability of various NFP program innovations.
The PRA will assist in all aspects of this project. This project will adopt an iterative community-based participatory research type design. As such, the PRA will participate in a range of stakeholder and community engagement activities, conduct qualitative interviews and focus groups, as well as assist in the qualitative coding of transcripts. The PRA will also assist in data analysis and play a supportive role in drafting manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Example of Work:
- Participate in stakeholder engagement activities.
- Work with multidisciplinary team to develop interview guides for data collection.
- Coordinate and conduct qualitative interviews and focus groups with various members and levels of the NFP program, child protective services, primary care providers, and at risk young families.
- Use qualitative research software to assist in the coding of research transcripts.
- Assist in all aspects of the qualitative data analysis.
- Play a supporting role in the drafting of manuscripts for peer reviewed publications.
- Other duties as assigned.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses, if applicable.
Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position is $22,000 to $27,000 at 0.50 FTE and is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience.

- Bachelors degree in basic science, public health or statistics
- 3-5 years Experience with qualitative data analysis including developing coding schemes and code books, coding data, and writing memos/reports
- Skill and proficiency using qualitative research software packages
- Master's degree in public health, social or behavioral sciences, or health services research.
- Experience with conducting qualitative research
- data collection and analysis
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check
