Project Support Specialist-1701841

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field. Teaching experience in an institutional setting which includes development of presentation material, lesson planning and participant evaluation. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate level courses in a science or education field or Master's degree in a science education field. Teaching experience of secondary school students in a laboratory setting is preferred. Experience in botany techniques and research. New York State Teacher Certification in Biology. Primary Purpose: Provide instruction in the Botany Teaching Laboratory
  • Teach botany laboratory modules to middle and high school students
  • Prepare applicable lessons.
  • Prepare and set up laboratory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Special notes: This is a part time appointment. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
