Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Division of Vocal Studies seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2017, Spring 2018, and Summer 2018 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
Teach courses that may include but are not limited to: MUAG 4210: Undergraduate Vocal Literature; MUAG 1905: English Diction; Applied Vocal Studies: MUAS, MUAC, MUAM: 1503, 3503, 5503, 6503; and MUAG 5610: Comparative Vocal Pedagogy.

Terminal degree in music or closely related field. Prior college-level teaching experience.
Expertise in Vocal Pedagogy
Expertise in teaching organized class in English Diction
Expertise in teaching organized class in Vocal Literature
Experience teaching voice at the university level
