General Summary: The Department of Political Science & International Affairs at The University of North Georgia invites applications for a full-time limited term appointment for the period August 2017 to May 2018. The primary appointment is to teach undergraduate political science courses. This position will require teaching Global Issues for the 2017-2018 Academic Year Only. The candidate in this position will teach courses split across various UNG campuses. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The Limited Term Faculty member will be responsible for teaching 15 semester hours per semester (5/5; undergraduate) predominantly of POLS 2401 courses.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Political Science or International Relations or a related field is required (PhD preferred)
  • Successful applicants will demonstrate an ability to work independently, a commitment to program development, and an ability to teach a range of service courses as well as specialty course(s) in their area.
