Jobs in this career family provide inpatient and outpatient care and consultation in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Faculty will also actively educate and mentor students, residents and Allied care professionals, and participate in and conduct research in the field.

Duties in this faculty position include clinical responsibilities such as assuming responsibility for patients' quality, safety, outcomes, and satisfaction; maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements; and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

Clinical responsibilities will include general inpatient services (12 bed acute rehabilitation unit and inpatient consults), opportunity for consultation services at long-term acute care facilities, and general outpatient clinics (hospital and satellite options) with expansions expected in both areas.

Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents, medical students, and Allied care professionals.

Research responsibilities include actively pursuing participation in research activities such as mentoring residents and other faculty in research endeavors.


Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have an MD/DO.

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and possess or are eligible for a Colorado State License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing inpatient and outpatient care and consultation in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
