Job Summary:

The Shelter Medicine Program at the University of Wisconsin (UW SMP) serves a wide variety of needs within the field of animal sheltering. The primary goal of the UW SMP is to save animal lives and imporve animal health and well-being. The Program Assistant will provide support and assistance with the daily operations of the Shelter Medicine Program. This position requires excellent administrative, organizational, and professional verbal and written communication skills. A qualified applicant will be a quick learner, self-motivated, detail oriented, manage time effectively and be proficient in Microsoft word and excel.



Schedule Comment:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with some flexibility of night or weekend work as needed on limited occasions.
This position may become renewable based on funding and operational needs.
