ADJUNCT FACULTY, Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA) - 2017
College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy program. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include day, evening and weekend assignments.
Position Title: ADJUNCT FACULTY, Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA) - 2017
Duties of Position:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred however a combination of education and experience in the field of law enforcement, public safety and/or homeland security may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree. At least five years in the field of law enforcement or public safety, private sector security, criminal justice related position, or combination thereof. Prior teaching experience in homeland security, private sector security, or criminal justice related field, preferred.
