Your initial assignment will include teaching; course and/or curriculum development; involvement on College and University committees and/or initiatives; as well as other duties as assigned. Florida Gulf Coast University is a comprehensive university dedicated to quality education, research, and service. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region.
Master's degree in Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation with 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
Ph.D. in Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent with one year teaching experience at the university level.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Salary Range $2,750 per three credit hour course
Essential Job Duties
Teaching undergraduate Bioengineering courses, such as Introduction to Biomaterials, Circuits for Bioengineers, Signals and Systems for Bioengineers, Design for Manufacturing, Health Care Engineering, Cellular and Tissue Engineering and/or Human Physiology for Engineers.
